From the field to the State Capitol. 🌱🏛️
Some of our sugarcane farmers traded tractors for the halls of the Capitol today as the American Sugar Cane League co-hosted a luncheon for the Rural Caucus, a group of 80 legislators representing rural parishes across Louisiana.
Patrick Frischhertz, Ricky Gonsoulin and Travis Medine spoke about their farms, the importance of sugarcane to our state and their commitment to being a resource for lawmakers.
