Tomorrow marks an exciting milestone as our newest nurse anesthesia students begin their clinical rotations.

May they enter each setting with calm minds, eager hearts, and the confidence that comes from diligent preparation. We pray that God continues to strengthen their knowledge, sharpen their skills, and guide every decision they make as they care for patients.

Their hands have been blessed as a reminder that the work they do is more than a profession—it is a calling to serve with compassion, excellence, and humility.

Learning, serving, and inspiring future healthcare heroes:

As part of a service-learning project, FranU Nurse Anesthesia Class of 2026 students partnered with Highland Elementary School to host the fifth annual Little Wolf Clinic, an interactive healthcare experience for local students.

The “clinic” featured hands-on stations where children learned about doctor visits, surgery and anesthesia, germs and proper handwashing, X-rays, anatomy, medical supplies, getting shots, and common medical exam equipment. Through play, exploration, and education, students gained a better understanding of healthcare while helping reduce fears associated with medical visits.

We are proud of our Class of 2026 students for sharing their knowledge, serving our community, and making a positive impact on the next generation!

Congratulations to everyone who participated in FranU’s Research & Scholarship Week Doctoral and Faculty Showcases held on May 1!

We are proud to recognize this year’s Best DNP Poster:

“The Impact of Ultrasound Guidance on First-Attempt Success Rates for Perioperative Vascular Access” by Chance Selvidge, Tanner Welch, and Meridith Bergeron.

We would also like to recognize Dr. William Schreiter, DNP Research Director, for his podium presentation, “Bridging Student Scholarship and Professional Development.”
