Happy new year!
Welcome to NO JAM JANUARY!
Let's get 2022 off to a safe start!
Come get your certificate and learn how to clear a jam in your firearm!
Please send a DM, text or call 225-223-7230.
We'll be discussing firearm jams and sharing videos and posts from reliable sources.
The next picture is a set up of one type of jam called..... Failure to feed
This type of malfunction happens when a handgun doesn’t load the next round into the chamber. There are a few different types and causes for this, but most of them are related to the magazine. It may not have been fully inserted, it could have a bad follower or the spring may be worn out. Bad ammunition or even a dirty feed ramp can be at fault.
Sometimes called the "tap-rack-bang" method.
ALWAYS POINT YOUR FIREARM IN A SAFE POSITION
1. "Tap" the bottom of magazine
2. "Rack" the slide to eject jammed round and load next round
3. Check to ensure firearm is properly loaded, aim ..."bang".
See you January 22!
