RSU1 Regional School Unit 1 consists of 7 schools serving the communities of Arrowsic, Bath, Phippsburg a Thank you!

Our goal is to deliver informative posts of the many positive activities and efforts being accomplished by our staff and your children from an RSU1-wide perspective, supplementing our other means of keeping you informed such as web sites, newsletters, press releases, other FB pages and official communications. Share our RSU1 FB Page posts and Invite others to experience the good news of our RSU1 schools.

We are one week away from the first day of school...have you completed the Annual Update? To get started, please log into the Infinite Campus parent portal. This process only takes a few minutes.

If you recently registered a new student, you have already completed the annual update. No further action is required unless you need to update your information.

PUBLIC NOTICE

To: The Voters of Arrowsic, Bath, Phippsburg, & Woolwich

Nomination Papers for the following Regional School Unit 1 (RSU 1) Board of Directors positions will be available beginning Monday, July 27, 2026 at 8:00AM:

• One (1) Bath-Resident Position
• One (1) Woolwich-Resident Position

Deadline for return delivery of completed Nomination Papers to the RSU 1 Office is 2:00PM on Monday, August 31st 2026. Elections will take place on November 3, 2026 in all RSU 1 Municipalities.

On May 4, the RSU 1 Board of Directors approved a proposed FY27 budget of $47,657,517, representing a 5.88% increase in the local contribution and a 4.34% increase in total expenditures.

The budget development process began in January and included multiple opportunities for stakeholder input, with the RSU 1 Finance Committee playing a key role throughout. The District Budget Meeting was held on May 26, during which all warrant articles were reviewed and voted on.

All articles were approved as presented, except Article 6 (Student and Staff Support), which was increased by $43,390. This adjustment brings the total proposed budget to $47,700,907.

The final step in the budget process is the public vote at the polls on Tuesday, June 9.
