We're excited to kick off our first Morse Football team dinner of the season - a tradition that brings players, coaches, and families together to celebrate the start of something special. hanks so much for all of your support last night! It was a fantastic community event.

Players should report to the locker room between 2 and 2:15 today - we have a team meeting at 2:30 in the fish bowl.

Based on state regulations, Monday and Tuesday we will wear helmets only (players will need shorts and cleats, Wednesday and Thursday we will wear helmets and shoulder pads (players will still need shorts and cleats), and Friday we are full pads.

Don't worry about the weather - we never cancel practice. If anything we will adjust indoors.

Looking forward to a great week!

Hi Morse Families,

In one week, we head into our Fall preseason. I know our Booster community is also preparing for something big — the Morse-a-Thon. This annual event is more than just a fundraiser — it’s a time when our entire Morse community comes together to support the programs that mean so much to our students.

With school budgets tightening each year, fundraisers like this are essential. They make it possible for us to offer a wide range of sports, provide safe and updated equipment, cover training costs, and compete at a high level across all our programs.

This year, my wish list is full of things that will directly impact our athletes — from basic equipment needs to upgrades that will keep our teams competitive and safe. But we can’t do it without your help. Our coaches meet several months before each season to discuss their needs and wants for their program. These meetings include us looking at the school and boosters' budget - the more we can fundraise, will allow us to support our coaches and most importantly our athletes.

I know it might feel like we’re always reaching out with a fundraiser. Every cent of the money we raise goes into our athletes.
If you haven’t already, please take a few minutes to help your athlete:

Have the app from last year? Just sign into your account
Need an account? Sign up for the SnapRaise Morse-a-Thon fundraising app
Upload 20 personal contacts’ emails and mobile numbers — friends, family, neighbors — anyone who might be willing to support our programs

Instructions:

Have your athlete scan the QR code below to access the Morse-a-Thon app, enter code to join, and start inputting your contacts!

Also, here’s a reminder about our Athletics Info Night, August 16th.

Sunday, August 16th - 4:30 pm in the Montgomery Theater - Welcome Back meeting for all student athletes and families.
Directly after the 30 (ish) minute meeting all Fall sports will meet with their coaches in a break out room.
Winter and Spring programs will meet just prior to their seasons.

And mark your calendars for the Morse Athletes BBQ August 24th

Thursday, August 24th - Morse A Thon BBQ hosted by the Morse All Sports Boosters
5:00 pm - BBQ for ALL Student Athletes on the Morse HS Grass Field
6:00 pm - All athletes will go into Montgomery Theater for the launch of the Morse A Thon
Thank you for being part of this amazing community. Let’s make this season the best one yet.
