By volunteering in local classrooms, you can support reading and math skills, build confidence, and form meaningful connections—all while staying active and engaged in your community. Volunteers serve 15–40 hours per week and receive training, a modest stipend, and the joy of new friendships along the way. Learn more and apply today by calling (870) 612-3000 or visiting www.wraaa.com. Together, we can make a difference—one child, one moment at a time.

Meet Veronica Marshall, a Foster Grandparent at Batesville Preschool through the White River Area Agency on Aging Foster Grandparent Program!

Veronica has been serving as a Foster Grandparent for 2 years, sharing her time, kindness, and encouragement with preschool students. One of her favorite parts of volunteering is watching the children learn, grow, and discover new things each day.

Thank you, Veronica, for making a difference one child at a time. Your love, patience, and support help create a positive foundation for our youngest learners.
