BIG life update. It is official. After 9 amazing years of teaching music lessons, that chapter of my life is officially closed. There were several factors at play here, and it was a VERY difficult decision to make, but both Kindalh and I both felt a peace about now being as good a time as any to pivot into whatever is next.

I can’t say enough about how lucky I have been to teach the amazing kids and adults I have had as students over the years. I am fully convinced that I have had THE best students, and I am so incredibly proud of each and every one of them.

So what is next? Well, of yesterday, I am officially working full time for my good friend Retro Rick at Retro Rick’s Game Point! I have a ton to learn, but I’m already loving it. God has provided in such huge ways at every step of this transition period, and I couldn’t be more excited for whatever happens next!

Happy birthday !!! Your strength, patience, and capacity for undeserved grace are astounding to me. I am fully convinced that you are the best wife and the best mother in the world. Thank you for everything you are and everything you do, my love. ❤️

I took this little man to day care for the first time today. I knew it’d be hard, but man I was NOT prepared for exactly how hard it would be on me. Knowing I had to drop him off while he was so upset, but also knowing it was okay, that it was even good for him… I was a wreck. All day.
But he ended up doing great (better than me probably😅), and we are all looking forward to this next phase! This parenting thing really is crazy, but man is it worth it.
