A huge THANK YOU to all of our Eagle Mountain Elementary families, students, teachers, and staff who made Open House such a wonderful success! It was great seeing so many smiling faces, meeting new families, and welcoming back our returning Pioneers.
The excitement for the new school year is contagious, and we can't wait to begin another year of learning, growing, and making memories together!

π First day of school is Tuesday, August 11, 2026. We cannot wait to welcome our students back and meet all of our new faces! π«π§‘
βοΈ School supplies will be provided for all BSD students at no cost to families.
π Students will only need to provide a backpack.
π·οΈ Please remember to label all personal items (backpacks, lunchboxes, water bottles, jackets, and hoodies) to help return any misplaced items quickly.

From: Kiwanis Club of Batesville
The Kiwanis Club of Batesville is inviting families across Independence County to enjoy one last big summer evening together at Kiwanis Community Splash Night on Friday, July 31, from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. at the Batesville Community Center & Aquatics Park.
The free community event will include admission to the Aquatics Park, free meals featuring hot dogs, chips and drinks, door prizes, music, games and family fun throughout the evening.

TOMORROW: MOBILE HUB RESOURCE FAIR
Join us for our Mobile Hub Resource Fair on Tuesday, July 28, from 9:00β11:00 a.m. at Batesville Junior High School.
Families can connect with community partners and take advantage of free resources to help prepare for the new school year, including:
Free books from Save the Children
Oral hygiene supplies and education made possible through a grant from the Delta Dental of Arkansas Foundation
Backpacks and school supplies
Shoes and socks
Food boxes
Free haircuts
First Community Bank Squirrels Club sign-ups
Information and resources from 100 Families and other community partners
A special thank you to the Delta Dental of Arkansas Foundation and Delta Dental of Arkansas for their generous grant, which helps provide oral hygiene supplies and education to families attending our Mobile Hub Resource Fair.
We're also grateful to First Community Bank for partnering with us to offer Squirrels Club sign-ups and to the many community organizations helping make this event possible.
