🏀🔥 Great day for the Jr. Boys at team camp today!

They went 3-0 at Sloan-Hendrix and played some outstanding basketball. Proud of the effort, teamwork, toughness, and competitiveness they showed all day long. We saw a lot of growth and plenty of positive things to build on moving forward.

Excited about the future! 🧡🖤🏀

Welcome Kenton Crawford as New Assistant Junior High Football and Basketball Coach! Go Pioneers!

SUMMER CROSS COUNTRY:
Parents, incoming 7th graders and other beginners, I have an introduction to the sport and unofficial recent program history at rundamentals.fitness/bhs-xc/

I also do open public group runs on assorted road race routes and neighborhood paths, so Pioneers needing company on your own casual runs can join the broader local running community.

Team practice for junior/senior high boys/girls will start July 6 at 7 am from the senior high gym. "Coach Stump" plans to share more details this week. I am running campus lanes and trails myself Friday morning at 7 from the gym lot if anyone wants a preseason peek at home base.

🏀 Great day at team camp for our junior girls and 7th graders against Sloan-Hendrix! We saw a lot of good things, competed hard, and showed plenty of potential. The future is bright for this group! 🖤🧡

SUMMER CROSS COUNTRY:
Runners, parents, and fans, please welcome Coaches Russ Stumpenhaus and Luke Tate, succeeding Coaches Fowler and Middlebrooks in basketball and cross-country.
With the athletic "dead weeks" just ahead as coaches are settling in, we will wait to start summer XC workouts Monday, July 6, 7 a.m. "Coach Stump" will post formal notice and summer schedule next week on school social media.
Runners are encouraged to run 25-45 minutes at least three days a week getting ready to join the team. (Local runners post group runs on social media if you want company or help getting started.) Boys and girls entering 7th-12th grades may join the team but will need a completed athletics physical filed with the school.
Look for a formal invitation from Coach Stump soon.

📣CALLING ALL FUTURE LADY PIONEER VOLLEYBALL PLAYERS📣

The Lady Pioneer Volleyball Program is hosting a 2-day volleyball camp on July 29th and 30th! If your daughter is entering the 2nd-6th grade and she has expressed interest in, already plays, and/or loves volleyball sign her up!

The cost for this camp is $35, and you can pay cash or check the first day of camp!
