Check out these reminders !
We can’t wait to see everyone tomorrow!!!
If a student needs their schedule because they didn’t come to open house or can’t get into HAC to view it, they can get it in the office after 7:35am! If they can see it on HAC, please have them write it down to lessen congestion in the office.
Breakfast and Lunch is at NO COST to students ! If students want extra or special items such as chips/gummies/slushies they will have to pay for those.
All students will come home with a printed badge! Replacement fee is $3.00. Students are required to wear these all day. That being said, our lanyard shipment is late for our badges and looks to arrive Wednesday. It is very important students keep up with those and once lanyards arrive, it will be mandatory they wear them all day. Students are welcome to have their own personal lanyards as well!
Car drop off- Do not drop off until 7:15! We will drop off 5 or more cars at a time! Let’s keep that line rolling! Be aware of crosswalks and students coming from the parking lot. All students will report to the cafeteria until 7:35 before being able to enter the main building.
Above all- bring your smile and your positive attitude! We are ready for you! 🧡🖤
Announcements: (pinned on our page!) ——keep this bookmarked and view it daily! It is a live document that changes everyday! So if your kid is the type that never comes home with information, fear not! Most everything ends up on our announcements!

Today, we're proud to shine the spotlight on Ms. Casey Burnside, Principal of BJHSC!
Ms. Burnside has a talent that might surprise you—she can sing, and she's been told she sounds a little like Carrie Underwood! When she's not leading our school, you'll often find her spending time with her family, whether that's mowing the yard, swimming with the kids, enjoying a day on the river, hunting, thrift shopping, or supporting her daughters in their extra curricular activities.
One of her favorite memories was taking a cross-country road trip in a U-Haul to help her sister move to the California coast. Along the way, they experienced incredible sights, including a stop at the breathtaking Grand Canyon.
At home, she's kept entertained by Rip, her Miniature Schnauzer, who has a unique hobby of his own. Rip loves to "deer hunt" by watching hunting shows on TV, hiding under the table as if it's his hunting blind, and then charging the television when the hunter finally gets a deer!
Before becoming an educator, Ms. Burnside's first job was as a Sonic carhop. She enjoys watching Friends, listening to music on her commute, and still remembers rocking Levi's and Doc Martens.
Thank you, Ms. Burnside, for your leadership, encouragement, and dedication to our students, staff, and families. Your passion for BJHSC is evident every day, and we're grateful for all you do for our Pioneer family! 🧡🖤

Today, we're proud to recognize Mr. Scott Carpino, Assistant Principal at BJHSC!
When he's not helping lead our Pioneer family, Mr. Carpino enjoys spending Saturday mornings eating breakfast, browsing antique stores, or playing Dead by Daylight. He's also a fan of Impractical Jokers, American Pickers, and On Patrol: Live.
At home, life is anything but boring thanks to his four pets! Ace is the clingy one, Oli is always getting into something mischievous, Memphis keeps everyone on their toes with endless energy, and Peaches proudly embraces a grumpy personality.
Before beginning his career in education, Mr. Carpino owned a moving business. As a kid, he dreamed of becoming a professional football player, and while that path changed, his passion for teamwork and leadership is evident every day at BJHSC.
He also admits to surviving the bowl haircut era and still remembers seeing Limp Bizkit as his first concert!
Thank you, Mr. Carpino, for your leadership, dedication, and the positive impact you make on our students, staff, and families each day. We're grateful for everything you do for our Pioneer family! 🧡🖤

When she’s not taking care of our students, Nurse Crystal is all about her family. She loves supporting her son and daughter in everything they do and spending time with her husband — preferably somewhere tropical with sunshine, clear water, and her toes in the sand!
Whether she’s caring for a sick Pioneer, cheering on her kids, or planning that next tropical getaway, Nurse Crystal has a big heart for the people she loves.
We’re so thankful to have her taking care of our Pioneers! 🧡🖤

From Band-Aids and ice packs to headaches, stomachaches, and the occasional “I just don’t feel good,” Nurse Crystal Johnson is the one our Pioneers know they can count on!
As our school nurse, she spends her days caring for students, keeping up with all the things that come with school health, and somehow staying calm when the rest of us would have absolutely no idea what to do.
She’s a familiar face, a helping hand, and an important part of keeping BJHS running each day.
This evening , we’re giving Nurse Crystal the spotlight! 🧡🖤

Our Front Office is also home to Ms. Carrie Lewallen, our wonderful bookkeeper!
When she's not keeping everything running smoothly behind the scenes, Ms. Lewallen loves spending time with her family, especially relaxing at the beach or enjoying a day on the lake with friends. Those moments together are what make her happiest.
At home, she's greeted by her two pets, Sam and Winston. When it's time to unwind, you'll likely find her watching NCIS or listening to a good audiobook.
Before joining BJHSC, Ms. Lewallen's first job was as a people greeter at the old Walmart. And if she's grabbing a quick bite to eat, McDonald's is always a solid choice!
Thank you, Ms. Lewallen, for the care, organization, and dedication you bring to BJHSC every day. Your work behind the scenes helps keep everything running smoothly, and we're grateful for all you do for our Pioneer family! 🧡🖤
