Love music. Love children. What if you could build something from both?

Teaching Musikgarten is more than leading a music class. It’s an opportunity to help children grow through music, connect with families, and build something meaningful in your community.

And you don’t have to do it alone. Musikgarten provides curriculum, training, resources, and a community of educators to support you along the way.

Could this be your next chapter? 🎶

Every family has one.
The song your child asks for in the car.
At breakfast.
After school.
Before bed.
And approximately 37 other times throughout the day.

Before children can explain music, they can experience it.

They can feel a steady beat.
They can hear when a melody goes up or down.
They can recognize a familiar song.
They can move when the music changes.
They can sing back something they've heard.

Early music learning doesn't have to begin with explanations.
Sometimes it begins simply by listening, moving, singing, and discovering.

That's where Musikgarten begins.

Some teachers teach ABCs. Some teach 1-2-3s. And some teach DO-RE-MI! ❤️

Happy World Teachers’ Day to the incredible educators who clap, sing, dance, play, encourage, repeat the song one more time…and make learning feel like joy.

To our Musikgarten teachers: thank you for creating spaces where little voices are heard, confidence grows, families connect, and a lifelong love of music can begin.

The songs may eventually change. The little feet will grow. But the impact of a wonderful teacher can last a lifetime.

🎵 It looks like play. But their brains are busy.

In a Musikgarten class, little ones may look like they're simply singing, moving, clapping, and having fun. But there’s so much more happening along the way.

When they move to the music, they’re exploring coordination and body awareness.

When they stop and listen, they’re practicing attention and learning to notice differences in sound.

When they sing along, they’re building their musical ear while practicing language and memory.

When they wait for their turn, they’re learning to participate as part of a group.

And when they repeat a rhythm, they’re discovering patterns, strengthening listening skills, and building a foundation for future music learning.

To them, it feels like play.

And that’s exactly the point. 💛

September sounded pretty good!

From first classes and favorite songs to little voices joining in and new rhythms discovered, we hope this month was filled with moments worth remembering.

Sometimes the best musical moments are the smallest ones - a child singing a song at home for the first time, finding the beat all on their own, or simply lighting up when the music begins.

Now we want to hear yours! Teachers and parents: What was your favorite musical moment this month? Share it in the comments so we can celebrate all the ways music brought a little more joy to September.

Parents, we have a question for you!

Finish this sentence: My child’s favorite song right now is __________. 🎶

You know the one - the song they request in the car, sing around the house, or ask you to play again...and again...and AGAIN.

Whether it’s a favorite Musikgarten song, a silly tune, or something completely unexpected, we want to hear it!
