October is Physical Therapy Month!

At STARS Academy, we know that every little movement can lead to a BIG milestone! 🌟
Whether it’s learning to sit independently, taking those first steps, building strength and balance, or gaining the confidence to explore something new, our incredible Physical Therapy team is there every step of the way. But what makes pediatric physical therapy so special goes far beyond the physical milestones. It’s the relationships built, the trust earned, the encouragement given, and the joy shared along the way.
Our PTs and PTAs have a remarkable ability to turn hard work into play, challenges into opportunities, and small victories into moments worth celebrating. This month, we’re celebrating Angela, Kaylea, Kendra C., and Kendra F. for the compassion, patience, creativity, and dedication they bring to our children and families each day.

Thank you for seeing the potential in every child, meeting them where they are, and helping them discover just how much they CAN do!

🎉 Happy 6-Year Workiversary, Alyssa! 🎉
Today we’re celebrating 6 years of Alyssa at STARS Academy! As a classroom technician, Alyssa has had the opportunity to be part of so many important moments in our kiddos’ lives.
🌟 When asked what she loves most about her job, Alyssa said it’s getting to watch the kids learn new skills. There’s something special about seeing a child work toward something new and getting to celebrate with them when all that hard work pays off!
🌟 Over the years, Alyssa says one of the biggest things she’s learned is the importance of always leading with kindness and patience. Every child learns, grows, and communicates in their own way and on their own timeline, and sometimes a little extra patience makes all the difference.
🌟 One of Alyssa’s proudest moments is seeing a child who has worked so hard to communicate finally get their message across however that may look to them. Those are the moments that remind us just how meaningful every bit of progress can be.
Alyssa, thank you for the kindness, patience, and encouragement you’ve given our kiddos over the last six years. We’re grateful to have you as part of the STARS family! ✨❤️
