Last week, our district librarians attended the Arkansas Association of Instructional Media (AAIM) Conference, the state's premier professional organization for school librarians. The conference provides valuable professional learning opportunities focused on curriculum integration, emerging technologies, library resources, and best practices for supporting student success.
Two of our librarians were selected to present at this year's conference:
Mrs. Webb, West Elementary β "Plugging Digital Citizenship into Storytime"
Mrs. Grant, Sulphur Rock Elementary β "From Checkout to Championship: Building a Schoolwide Reading Culture"
Both librarians shared their expertise and experiences with colleagues from across Arkansas. We are proud to have them represent Batesville School District and make a positive impact on students and school libraries statewide!
