This quote stopped me in my tracks.
I've been the one at rest, thinking I was smart. I didn't fully understand Genius yet, but I certainly tried, to be, do, look, act smart.
And most of the time it stopped me.
Paralysis by analysis. Perfectionism. "Right" answers.
20 years of tripping over my own inherent Genius, because I didn't understand that Genius allows for my idiot to shine too! 😂
I don't mean that in a negative way. What I mean is that sometimes I have to be willing to trip, fall, fail.
Now I help people Navigate their own Genius Maps so they too can be more successful, more resilient, more GENIUS!

When I named this work Every Day Genius, I wasn’t being clever. I wasn’t softening the word to make it more accessible or democratic or palatable.
I was restoring Genius to its rightful ownership. Yours and mine and everyone’s.
Every day — because your genius is not an occasional visitor. It doesn’t arrive on the days when you perform brilliantly and retreat when you stumble. It is present with you the way your own breathing is present with you. Every single day.
Genius — not as a ranking. Not as a comparison. But as the Roman meaning: the generative spirit that is yours, that was yours from the beginning, that is asking to move through you in ways that are completely specific to who you are.
