Representatives from Lyon’s Fighting Scots ROTC detachment, as well as Lyon Colleges very own Kenton Adler participated in the dedication of a headstone for a Medal of Honor recipient from the Civil War. Mr Adler was even able to participate while wearing an appropriate Civil War era uniform.

Congratulations to Cadet Justin Maguire on his recent graduation from Air Assault School. Cadet Maguire is the second Cadet from the Lyon ROTC program to complete this program. Air Assault is commonly referred to as the toughest ten days in the Army.

Congratulations to Cadet Eli Lupton of the Fighting Scots Detachment of the Lyon College ROTC program. Cadet Lupton has graduated the Army’s Air Assault course. This is a very challenging course. Cadet Lupton was the first Cadet from our program to be selected for this course. Cadet Lupton will now spend the rest of his summer furthering his Military education. We look forward to Cadet Lupton returning to our program and sharing his new knowledge with other Cadets.
