As first-year students gear up for the fall semester, many are surprised by the high cost of textbooks. UC Clermont is easing that burden by expanding Open Education Resources, giving students free access to essential course materials.

As the cost of college continues to rise, UC Clermont is finding practical ways to help students save money through the growing use of open education resources (OER).

We're proud to share that UC Clermont's Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) program has been named the 2026 Program of the Year by the Ohio Physical Therapy Association ! 🎉 This achievement reflects the hard work, passion, and dedication of everyone involved in our PTA program. Congratulations to our faculty, students, alumni, and supporters who made this possible!

Some Bearcats take a few years off. Cyndy Wright Sellers took 50. 🐾

After retiring, Cyndy decided there was no question about where she'd return to finish her degree: the University of Cincinnati. With encouragement from UC Clermont's Dean Jeff Bauer, Dean Emeritus Greg Sojka, and her academic advisor Nikki Gamm, she enrolled for Spring 2026.

This December, she'll graduate with her associate's degree in Individual Studies, with a bachelor's in Communication still ahead!

"After 50 years, I came full-circle as a Bearcat. I am a Bearcat for Life!"
