Need some weekend plans? Join the GCC Theatre Department and the Forum Players for a staged reading of Peter Shaffer's AMADEUS, October 16 & 17 at 7:30pm in the Stuart Steiner Theatre. Directed by GCC Theatre faculty Sandy Nagar. Performances are FREE!

"Peter Shaffer’s passionately powerful and darkly funny play explores jealousy, genius and mediocrity through the eyes of the genteel composer Antonio Scalieri, a contemptuous rival to the boorish but ingeniously talented young Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart." -Concord Theatricals

AMADEUS has won 5 Tony Awards (including Best Play), 3 Drama Desk Awards (including Outstanding New Play), and 8 Academy Awards (including Best Film).

The cast includes Morgan Burns as Antonio Salieri, Dusty Wheeler as Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, Naomi Hoffman as Constanze Weber, Russell Kingdollar as Joseph II, Rudy Fahnbulleh as Count Johann Kilian Von Strack, Wes Kirsch as Count Franz Orsini-Rosenberg, Grace Wheeler as Baron Gottfried Van Swieten, and Jax Murch as Major-Domo. The Venticelli are played by Matt Lawrence, Lydia Hoffman, Sadee Dillon, and Kiera Zambito. Ensemble features Alana Dourie and Bobbijo Nuttal. Sam Beal is Stage Manager, with Abby Williams as Assistant Stage Manager.

Shows are this Friday, October 16 and Saturday, October 17 at 7:30pm in the Stuart Steiner Theatre! Come support our Theatre students by attending this FREE stage reading.

We are very excited to exhibit Mary Jo's newest works in the Stuart Steiner Theatre lobby! Invisible Scars was made to highlight Domestic Violence Awareness Month, which takes place each October. The artwork centers around the experiences of survivors, while asking viewers to confront the realities of abuse and the different forms it takes. This exhibit will be on display from October 13 - November 30, 2026 in the Stuart Steiner Theatre lobby. This space is open any time the campus is open, so feel free to stop by. This project was made possible with funds from the Statewide Community Regrant Program, a regrant program of the New York State Council on the Arts with the support of the office of the Governor and the New York State Legislature and administered by GO ART!
