Considering Preschool for your little one?

If you have a child who will be 3 or 4-years old prior to September 1 of this year, there's still time to register for Preschool at Immanuel!

Through play, young children learn and develop:
🤔cognitive skills – like math and problem solving in a pretend grocery store
🏃physical abilities – like balancing blocks and running on the playground
🔠new vocabulary – like the words they need to play with toy dinosaurs

At Rainforest Falls VBS, kids explore the nature of God!

Rainforest Falls is a week filled with awesome Bible-learning experiences kids see, hear, and touch! Hands-on science experiments, team-building games, unforgettable Bible songs, and getting into God's Word are just a few of the standout activities that help faith flow into real life. Plus, we’ll help kids discover how to see evidence of God in their everyday lives.

Science in action for Immanuel's 4th Grade Class! We recently had the annual egg drop experiment where the students follow the scientific method to come up with ways to protect an egg from breaking during a 2-story drop.

Our fearless Mrs. Wert climbs into the cherry picker with all of the projects and one-by-one, drops them while the school looks on. Together, they then see what ideas worked and what ideas may need some refining. There is no failure...just LEARNING!

What an extraordinary way to learn on an ordinary day!

Good luck to Immanuel’s Track & Field team this weekend at the LSA State Meet! We had our Spring sports pep rally & then the whole school clapped out the statebound team. May you have fleet feet, high (& far) jumps, & strong throws!

Ascension Day Blessings!

Sometimes Ascension Day gets overlooked because it's during the week. But it's still important as it celebrates Jesus' completion of his earthly mission 40 days after Easter, as He takes His seat at the right hand of the Father in heaven.
