Alice Gustafson School and Early Childhood Parent Teacher Organization Born on May 2, 1892, she graduated from Batavia High School in 1911.
Our school was named in honor of Miss Alice Gustafson, a prominent Batavian and respected educator. She was an educator in Batavia from 1922-1956, serving as a teacher at both Grace McWayne School and Louise White School. For the last 18 years of her career she was the principal of Louise White School. She died on June 12, 1979. Alice Gustafson School was opened in 1957 and was dedicated on Februa

Check out the Friends of the Library Booksale downstairs tomorrow (6/10) from 6-8 and Saturday (6/13) from 9-1!
Open Wednesdays, Fridays, and Saturdays from 9-2… is the perfect place to snuggle goats and watch the animals—plus grab some delicious soup and don’t skip key lime pie.
Feeding + snuggling the goats is free and the market inside is phenomenal and reasonably priced!
I can’t emphasize this enough…get there early and grab a key lime pie this weekend…you won’t be disappointed. 🍋🟩
