🚨BHS forensic science teachers have been hard at work this summer creating new and engaging learning opportunities for our students. We would like to extend a heartfelt thank-you to Constable Wayne Wood for helping design a bullet-trajectory demonstrative aid that will be an incredible asset in the classroom this year. We also want to thank our teaching assistant, Angelica Garcia, for generously donating the Sheetrock needed for this project. We love seeing our community come together for our students.

🚨BHS forensic science students spent the morning showing their appreciation to our first responder community partners. These agencies have gone above and beyond when it comes to supporting our students. We also managed to have a little fun along the way. 🚒

Over the past several weeks, BHS forensic science students have been engaged in learning about medicolegal death investigation, which entails the inquiry into unexpected or suspicious deaths. This week, students had the opportunity to attend a lecture delivered by forensic pathologist Dr. Suzanna Dana, gaining insight into the role of a medical examiner. Additionally, students explored the field of forensic anthropology through a laboratory activity.

💡🥼Today BHS forensic science students had the opportunity to help out at STEAMFest. They did a fantastic job of sharing their knowledge with other students from campuses throughout the district.
