We Believe In BISD

Our Education Committee met at Bastrop High School, where members had the opportunity to tour the campus, learn more about the school, and see firsthand the work happening to support Bastrop ISD students.

We’re grateful for the opportunity to connect and continue building strong relationships between education, business, and our community. When we invest in our schools, we invest in the future of the Bastrop region.

The Bastrop Regional Chamber was honored to welcome new educators during the BISD New Teacher Academy on Wednesday!

Thanks to the generosity of our local businesses, each new teacher received a swag bag filled with community goodies and special offers. Our volunteers also had the opportunity to introduce the Chamber, share how we support local businesses, and highlight our We Believe in BISD initiative.

Thank you to everyone who donated, volunteered, and helped give our newest teachers a warm Bastrop welcome. We are excited to have you in our community and wish you an incredible first year! 💙🍎

We Believe in BISD was proud to join the Back to School Bash and celebrate the incredible educators who make a difference in our community!

Teachers enjoyed fun games, friendly competition, plenty of smiles, and the chance to win some money along the way.

All smiles and plenty of laughter at the Bastrop ISD Service Center as we wrapped up our final visit of the year. It was incredible to see and share the renewed energy and excitement across campuses this year. What a truly great year it’s been!

What a great visit to . A Huge Thank You to the Bastrop Economic Development Corporation, Bastrop Skate Palace, The Nitsche Group (Bastrop), and Mark Lee: Allstate Insurance for sponsoring this school! It was amazing to see almost the whole Bastrop Skate Palace crew talking to some of their past educators!

We loved our recent We Believe visit highlighting Special Programs & Services and celebrating the incredible work happening in our schools.

Thanks to the generous support of WoodmenLife, Greater Texas FCU, and Cedar Valley Baptist Church, we were able to share the love—and some We Believe spirit! Three outstanding teachers received We Believe t-shirts and a special promise, all while uplifting campuses with Good News Stories that deserve to be heard.

This initiative is all about recognizing educators, spreading positivity, and showing up for the people who make our community stronger every day. When you’re out and about, wear your We Believe merch proudly and help us keep sharing the good happening across our great community!
