Due to the forecast of severe weather during the originally scheduled graduation ceremony, Bastrop ISD has made the decision to move the Bastrop High School Graduation Ceremony to the Jerry Fay Wilhelm Center for the Performing Arts to help ensure the safety of our students, families, staff, and guests.
The ceremony will remain on schedule for this evening:
Sames Ford Giveaway: 7:00 PM
Graduation Ceremony: 8:00 PM
New Location:
Jerry Fay Wilhelm Center for the Performing Arts
1401 Cedar Street, Bastrop, TX 78602
Because of the change in venue size, graduation will now be a ticketed event. Seniors received tickets in their graduation packets earlier today.
We know this last-minute change may create challenges, and we sincerely appreciate the flexibility and understanding of our families and community. After consulting with meteorologists and monitoring the forecast closely, we believe this decision gives us the best opportunity to celebrate the Class of 2026 safely.
We are proud of our seniors and look forward to celebrating this important milestone together tonight.
The event will be live streamed at: youtube.com/live/rNfHixE7nXg?feature=share

We are monitoring the forecast and understand there is a possibility of severe weather during the upcoming graduation ceremonies for Bastrop High School and Cedar Creek High School.
In the event of inclement weather, graduation ceremonies may be moved to the JFW Performing Arts Center.
An update will be communicated no later than 4:00 PM on the day of each graduation.
Regardless of the venue, due to the rain our normal overflow parking will be inaccessible and parking will be limited. Please make your plans now to Carpool.
If weather forces us into the Performing Arts Center, please note that guests will be limited. Tickets will be issued to each student at their graduation meetings on campus.
Thank you for your flexibility and support as we work to ensure a safe and memorable experience for all graduates and families.

Big moment for the PTECH program!! π
Our Seniors conquered the Pharmacy Technician Exam after four years of hard work and dedication! Meanwhile, our Freshmen completed their ACC enrollment with a visit to the Eastview campus and are ready to start classes this fall.
We are so proud to see our first Senior cohort step into the workforce, and we canβt wait to watch our newest ACC students learn and grow. The future is bright!
