We have loved welcoming so many families, making new connections, and getting everyone excited for the year ahead! We’re already looking forward to Thursday and can’t wait to see even more of our Bear family! 🤩

Couldn’t make it to Bear Camp or didn’t get a chance to pick up your district-issued device? No worries! 💻 We’ve got you covered. All necessary paperwork will be sent home on the first day, and Chromebooks will be issued throughout the day.

Last week, our teachers officially made their way back to campus, and what a week it was! 📚💗

Throughout the week, our teachers participated in professional learning through our very own mini “Knowledge in Action” rotations- learning, collaborating, sharing ideas, and getting ready to make this year our best one yet! A HUGE thank you to our amazing CBPL leads for sharing your knowledge and making the learning so meaningful! 👏✨

We also completed our CRASE training to help ensure we’re prepared to keep our students and staff safe. 🫶🏼

And now… the best part! 🥳 Tomorrow we get to meet our 6th graders AND welcome back some familiar 8th grade faces! We can’t wait to fill our halls with smiles, laughter, and learning again.

Each parent and family member that registers for PTA on or before August 31, 2026, will enter their student into a drawing to win 1 of 4 prizes (Pictured Below).

RULES: Parents must use the link provided below to register directly on the PTA Website. Make sure to select Bastrop ISD as the school district and Bastrop Middle School as the campus.

Then complete the prompts as requested.

Registration must be completed on or before August 31, 2026, to be eligible for the drawing.

School is back in session next week... and so is the dress code!

A few quick reminders to help students start each day ready to learn.

Hats? Give them the day off. 🧢
Crop tops? Pick a top that's ready for the classroom. 👕
Pajamas? Save them for movie night. 🍿
House slippers? Perfect for the living room. 🏡
