🚨🧥👟 LOST & FOUND IS TAKING OVER RMS 👟🧥🚨
School may be out for summer… but apparently everyone’s belongings decided to stay behind. 😂

We currently have:
💧 A mountain of water bottles
🧥 Hoodies & jackets galore
🎒 Lunchboxes & backpacks
👟 Shoes (including several lonely singles looking for their sole mate 😅)
🕶️ Glasses & jewelry
💍 (Jewelry and glasses must be identified to pick up.)

If your student has spent the year saying:
👉 “I lost my hoodie.”
👉 “I swear I brought my water bottle.”
👉 “Mom, someone took my shoes.”
…you may want to come take a look. 👀

🕗 Parents may stop by the front office Monday–Friday from 8:00 AM–4:00 PM to claim items.

⚠️ Any items not picked up by FRIDAY will be donated.
Please help us clear out the RMS Lost & Found before these hoodies officially enroll for next school year. 🐻😂

Day 2: 7th Grade Field Day!! We had a blast! I hope you all have an Amazing Summer ☀️

Day 1: 6th Grade Field Day was a great day! ☀️

The kids….and staff had a blast! Thank you Coach Higgs for the set up and Riverside Middle School PTA for paying for the slides and Kona Ice!!

These teachers have put their heart into the kids of Riverside! Amazing group of staff!

In support of Mental Health Awareness Month 💚, students wrote positive quotes and uplifting messages. Small words can make a big difference. A kind message, a reminder that you matter, or a simple "you are not alone" can brighten someone's day.

Activities and materials were provided by our school social worker to encourage positivity, connection, and mental wellness.

Just when our staff thought the galaxy couldn’t get any better… MORE raffle prizes appeared! 🚀✨

The Force was extra generous today as even more Riverside staff members walked away with some amazing prizes. We are incredibly thankful for our community partners and donors who helped make this week so special for our teachers and staff! 💫

This week reminded us just how lucky we are to be surrounded by a community that supports and celebrates education in such a big way. Thank you for helping us make our teachers feel appreciated, valued, and celebrated all week long. ❤️

And just like that… our Teacher Appreciation Week saga has reached its epic finale! 🚀💫

Today, our staff enjoyed a pizza lunch worthy of the Jedi Council thanks to the generosity of Little Caesars of Bastrop and Coach Fig’s business, Coaches Cuts. Little Caesars generously donated half of the lunch, and Coaches Cuts came in CLUTCH to sponsor the rest — proving once again that the Force is strong in our Riverside community! 🍕❤️

This week has been filled with amazing food, fun surprises, and incredible support from our community partners, families, businesses, Riverside Middle School PTA, Student Council, and staff. We are beyond grateful for everyone who helped make our teachers feel celebrated all week long. 💫

Day 4 of our Star Wars-themed Teacher Appreciation Week was another galactic success! 💫

A huge THANK YOU to our amazing Student Council for treating our staff to an incredible lunch from H-E-B True Texas BBQ complete with all the fixings! From the smoky barbecue to the delicious sides, our teachers were definitely well-fed and feeling appreciated today. 🍖✨

We are so grateful for students (& their parents!) who go above and beyond to celebrate the teachers and staff who make Riverside such a special place. The Force is clearly strong with our Student Council! ❤️
