Summer Reading Requirements
Happy Summer Bison Families!
We want to thank you for a great year and also want to continue to foster a love of reading in our students. Our mandatory summer reading lists and assignments for grades 2-11 can now be found in the link below. The assignment will be due on the first day of school (August 13th) during literature and will be entered as a class grade. This program was implemented across all Founders to help counteract reading regression throughout the summer. We have also included a link for some optional summer reading for grades K-1.

Guitar classes performed their spring concert last Thursday night before a full house. Thank you to our families for coming out to support and celebrate our musicians!

Our Adventure Dash Fun Run was a success! Thank you to our amazing PTO and Founders families for all your support.

We are so proud of our guitar classes that participated in the performance and sight reading sweepstakes this week! Both classes earned top scores from their judging panels. A special thanks to Mr. Lester for starting this program and teaching our students so well!

Today, our students learned that reaching goals is just like climbing a ladder 🪜 one step at a time:

They even built their own “goal ladders” to show the steps they’ll take toward success! 🌟

Here are some kid‑friendly snack tips:

Pick power snacks! Fruits, veggies, cheese, or nuts instead of chips or candy.
Color your plate! The more colors, the better!
Go for energy! Choose foods that help you play and think.
Make it fun! Build fruit kabobs or dip apples in peanut butter.
