Feed Your Potential 365: Do you know the difference between sugar and added sugar in food? The American Heart Association recommends children 2 to 18 should consume less than 6 teaspoons of added sugar a day, and no more than 8 ounces of sugary beverages like soda per week! Today is WORLD Bicycle Day and also National Donut Day! It's super important to stay active, especially if there's not much going on in these long summer days! Be sure to grab your bike and head to your nearest bakery for a tasty reward for your active efforts and enjoy a donut!
Bonus: If you're at BHS summer school today, grab a glazed lucky charms donut to celebrate! Extra bonus points if you bike there!

Feed Your Potential 365: Know what’s bananas? Strawberries aren’t berries at all, but bananas ARE! Another wacky fact: Strawberries are low in calories, high in vitamin C, deliciously sweet, and they’re coming into their peak season right now.
Did you make the cute strawberry banana caterpillar we posted a couple of days ago?? Or maybe just blending it up into a smoothie is more your style! Or throw some strawberries into your next banana bread!
