Due to inclement weather conditions, our schools will dismiss early today. Elementary campuses will release at 1:15 PM, and middle and high school campuses will release at 1:30 PM.

JDCSD schools and offices will be closed on Friday, April 3 and Monday, April 6 in observance of Good Friday and Easter Monday.

Classes will resume on Tuesday, April 7.

The Jefferson Davis County School District Campus Police officers attending 2025 MASRO Conference to enhance their yearly training. We will be focusing on the WHY and PURPOSE of law enforcement in the schools and communities. We’re looking forward to another great year with our staff and scholars. My (Chief Sims) vision this year is focused on the community by starting a program called “Jaguar P.A.W.S” (Parents Assisting With Safety). It’s takes the community and schools working together to create a POSITIVE LEGACY for OUR district.
