We were able to gather one last time this past Sunday to celebrate the entire 2025-2026 Ridge Cheer program. Bittersweet to see the season come to a close and celebrate all of the Fall and Winter accomplishments. We also had the opportunity to honor and send off some special senior athletes as they prepare to graduate later this spring.

A special thanks to all our athletes, families and Ridge HS administration for supporting us throughout this past year. Your commitment and support has contributed to a successful and memorable 2025-2026 season.

We are officially closing out the 2025–2026 season with a second place finish in the Small Varsity NT Cheer Dance Division in today’s NJCDCA States Competition. 👏🥈

It has been a blessing to watch this team grow throughout this past year. Finding their rhythm and working together, pushing through and lifting each other up through all the highs and lows was truly a gift beyond measure. Seeing them all become a family since last summer and watch them laugh, cry and cheer together was bigger than winning any banner or trophy at any competition. It really is bittersweet to see this journey end.

Each one of these athletes has left a lasting imprint in our hearts. We’ll FOREVER be proud of these 12. 💚

A Nationals Recap

It’s hard to believe that a week has passed since these ladies first took the mat at this year’s NHSCC. Throughout the 3 day competition weekend, this team performed a total of 6 times, advancing to finals in both their Traditional and Game Day divisions. Emotions ran deep throughout the weekend, along with injury, pain and fatigue. Whether it be running reps, talking each other up backstage or visualizing in the most random of places, these ladies did it together. Through it all, they pushed through-all the way to their last performance. We are beyond proud of this team for finishing 11th in the nation for both routines. It’s truly a huge accomplishment for the Ridge HS cheer program. The season isn’t over just yet. These ladies look forward to competing at the NJCDCA States competition later this month. Ridge Cheer is ready to go! Stop by this Sunday, February 1st, as Ridge High School and Ridge Youth Senior Rec competition teams perform one last time for friends and family before heading down to Florida to compete at UCA Nationals. These two teams have been working so hard since last summer and are ready to take the mat and represent our Ridge community down at ESPN Disney Wide World of Sports. Let’s come together and cheer them on!
