I cold called Michelle a dozen years ago to invite her to support a literacy cause. Michelle is a leader, a reader, and a philanthropist. She said yes. We have been fast friends ever since.
Michelle invited me to speak at her annual client luncheon when I was brand new to public speaking. Now I entrust her with my mother's assets, a giant gift of calm and comfort in a very chaotic dementia situation.
Michelle's firm, Gentlestone Wealth is once again partnering with us to bring you the annual Changemaker Breakfast to benefit Room to Read on 10.11.24

"Professional expertise, voice, & lived experience - together - are essential to improve situations."
I am flush with lived experience in caring for aging parents, two of whom have dementia. Navigating the legal, medical, financial, practical, and emotional aspects of caregiving is overwhelming.
I share my book and my ongoing learning journey with senior communities, faith communities, senior centers, book clubs, podcasts, caregiving companies, and seminars. You are not alone!

Very excited to be a part of this incredible network of women. Women/daughters do most of the caregiving for aging parents. I want to share what I have learned and continue to experience to make the journey a bit easier for others.
