🦃 From tiny hands to soon-to-be graduates, our whole school came together for our annual Thanksgiving feast. We ended the day with a sweet and simple balloon parade. Moments like these remind us how thankful we are to grow, learn, and celebrate together!

🧪 This week in Middle School Science!
Our scientists explored chemical properties by testing oxidation, flammability, and reactions with acids. (And yes… students are still disappointed that tasting substances is not an approved test method! 😄)
🔬 In our Evidence for Evolution module, students created their own cast fossils, applying concepts of preservation and geological time.
🥚 And in our Egg Drop Challenge, teamwork and physics took center stage! Although the girls engineered a structurally impressive triangular-prism design, the boys’ crumpled-paper cushioning proved that increasing stopping time and spreading force over a larger area can make all the difference. Success through science!
Great curiosity, creativity, and problem-solving all around! 🌟

🐼 The Panda Project Toy Drive is officially underway!
Join us in supporting our friend, Landon, as he raises awareness for Type 1 Diabetes by donating new, unwrapped toys. We’ll be collecting donations all week, and every toy will be delivered to Goryeb Children’s Hospital to brighten the day of children newly diagnosed with a chronic illness.
