This week’s Face of Little Footprints is Miss. Bianca Burke!

Bianca is joining Little Footprints Learning Center this fall as the Lead Teacher in our 3-year-old classroom. She is excited to begin her first year at LFLC and feels incredibly blessed for the opportunity to teach and care for God’s children.

Bianca recently graduated from Fairleigh Dickinson University with a Bachelor’s degree in Forensic Psychology and Criminology, along with a minor in Business Administration. This fall, she will continue her education by pursuing a Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Psychology at Fairleigh Dickinson University.

One fun fact about Bianca is that she is a two-time conference champion in the 400-meter dash! Outside of the classroom, she enjoys running, swimming, working out, playing word games, and spending time with her friends and family.

Bianca’s favorite children’s book is The Little Chapel That Stood, a story she loved reading as a child and still treasures today. She loves the powerful reminder that the little chapel remained standing despite the chaos surrounding it—a beautiful picture of faith, hope, and God’s faithfulness.

When asked what she hopes every child feels when they leave her classroom, Bianca shared, “I pray every child feels deeply loved and understood during a season of life when they can often feel misunderstood. I hope they leave knowing they are loved, seen, heard, and smart, and that they experience the love of Christ each day in our classroom.”

We are so excited to welcome Bianca to the Little Footprints family and can’t wait for our students and families to experience the joy, compassion, and enthusiasm she will bring to our 3-year-old classroom.

Today’s Face of Little Footprints is Mrs. White!

Laura first joined LFLC in 2009 as Lead Teacher. She has taught the 21/2, mixed 2/3 classes and 3’s up until 2026. She is now taking a step back to joyfully be the assistant for the 3’s class. Laura holds a BS in education from USF and taught several years in Florida before moving to NJ.

She is passionate about creating a classroom where every child feels safe, comfortable and happy all while learning in a fun and exciting manner. Above all she strives to ensure each child feels loved, valued, and has the opportunity to learn about Jesus in a warm nurturing environment.

Outside the classroom, Laura is the proud mom of two grown children and is now enjoying the life of an empty nester with her husband. She has a soft spot for animals, especially her very pampered pooches! Whether she’s out enjoying the beauty of nature, taking a long walk, or watching a good mystery, she appreciates life’s simple joys.

One of Laura’s favorite books is “The Little Engine That Could” because she believes you can do hard things with the right encouragement and support! She loves being that for her students so they can be proud of all their accomplishments.

When asked, what do you hope every child feels when they leave your classroom, Laura replied:
“I want every child to leave the classroom feeling like they had the best day ever! My hope is that they go home happy, proud of themselves, and more confident than when they arrived. I also hope they build meaningful friendships, learn to be kind and encouraging to one another and feel like they are an important part of our classroom family. If they can’t be with their family during the day, I want them to feel just as loved, safe and cared for in our classroom. My greatest goal is for every child to know they are valued, and cant wait to come back the next day.”

This week’s Face of Little Footprints is Mrs. Joy Leinbach!

Joy is joining the Little Footprints Learning Center team this fall as an Assistant Teacher in our 4-year-old classroom. We are so excited to welcome her to our school community and know she will be a wonderful addition to our staff.

Joy has a heart for serving others and loves building meaningful relationships with children and families. One fun fact about her is that she has traveled to more than 10 countries, with seven of those trips serving on mission teams around the world. She also enjoys photography and loves capturing life’s special moments.

When asked what she hopes every child feels when they leave her classroom, Joy shared, “I hope every child leaves feeling seen, encouraged, and loved. I want them to know their ideas matter and that learning can be fun!” That heart for helping children feel valued and cared for aligns beautifully with the mission of Little Footprints.

Two of Joy’s favorite children’s books are Love You Forever by Robert Munsch and Oh, the Places You’ll Go! by Dr. Seuss—timeless stories that celebrate love, encouragement, and the exciting journey of growing up.

We are so thankful to have Joy as part of the Little Footprints family and can’t wait for our students and families to get to know her this school year!

Howdy, folks! Woody & Jessie here! Say, this is a nice kitchen you have here! We’ve been having the best time preparing some meals for all the toys while you kids are enjoying your summers!

This week’s Face of Little Footprints is Mrs. Clarke!

Mrs. Clarke has served at LFLC for over 23 years and has taught in all age groups. She has a Child Developmental Associate (CDA) in early childhood education and has experience teaching adults with developmental disabilities for the Somerset County Arc, Assistant Teacher in the wrap-around program for Kindergarten at Gillette school, Cub Scout Leader, Sunday School teacher for Kindergarten (MBC), 3year old teacher for Kings Kids (MBC), VBS leader (MBC).

What brings her heart joy is spending time with her adult sons and daughters-in-law, her 4 precious grandchildren, extended family and dear friends. She enjoy reading, music, hiking, and observing and exploring God’s creation whether at the shore or mountains. (She prefers mountains and lakes.)

Her favorite books are: The Giving Tree- Shel Silverstein because kindness matters. Good friendships grow when we both give and share. She also loves The Velveteen Rabbit- Margery Williams. Because love helps us become our truest “real” selves- not from how perfect we look.

When asked “what do you hope every child feels when they leave your room” she responded:

What I hope every child feels when they leave my classroom is they are loved and valued by our Jesus, and that learning may be challenging yet is so fun!
What makes LFLC so special to me is being in an atmosphere where we can, praise, pray, sing, and be instruments in planting seeds of faith in the hearts of the children, their families and one another.
