Sunshine Preschool and Infant Care Sunshine Preschool and Infant Care offers half day, school day, and full day options for infants thr

Founded in 2007, Sunshine Preschool & Infant Care offers a high quality preschool program, focused on the intellectual, social, spiritual and creative development of each child. We give each child a place to learn, grow and create using their unique talents and imagination. Our dedicated, caring teachers support and strengthen each child’s abilities and give them opportunities to expand their horizons through cooperative play, small group instruction, and hands-on learning. We are located in the quiet area of Liberty Corner and Basking Ridge in Somerset County, NJ with quick access to I-78 and I-287. Our bright and spacious building offers 14,000 square feet featuring large classrooms, a full gymnasium, an art room, an imagination room with a mini town, and a library and computer room. We are located on the campus of Fellowship Deaconry Ministries, a historic non-denominational Christian organization, offering 60 acres of tranquil, park-like property.

Sooooo Saturday found me vacuuming and shampooing the carpets. Everything was going well until a mishap. I cleaned it up and packed it in and went home. AND then it was Sunday Spouse Day. My husband joined me in finishing this project without any mishaps ❤️☀️We also washed the art smocks and did the last minute shopping for all those little things you need. Looking forward to the start of the new school year ☀️

Training Thursday was a long day. The morning started with some staff taking their CPR/First Aid training. We then did a TEAM training on safety, classroom management and licensing requirements. We then moved onto cleaning and organizing our specials classrooms - Library, STEM, and Art Room. All day long staff was able to spend some time in their classrooms to continue the clean up and set up as well.

Tackle Tuesday was our day today at Sunshine ☀️ Mulch was delivered and then moved to our playgrounds. The painting of the boys bathroom is almost complete and the girls bathroom will start tomorrow. The alarm company was also at Sunshine ☀️ today to check, replace, repair our alarm system. Our teachers spent the morning enjoying some bagels, cleaning, organizing and setting up their classrooms for the school year. In this crazy day we were able to spend 3 hours towards our 20 hours of reqired traning per school year. We covered BTS state mandated training, reviewing Sunshines policy’s, themes, and our curriculum. We will be back at it tomorrow ❤️☀️
