Our Table Topics Master called upon several members to deliver 1-2 minute impromptu talks on a topic announced right before the member was chosen. Congratulations to Helene Zelinsky for being nominated as the winner in the September 24th Midtown Toastmasters Meeting!

The importance of communication is key to telling your story. We asked participants to share a weakness or strength they could identify in themselves. Helene showed us how strong she truly is; her speech was exactly 1:58 and she was flawless.

Congratulations to our former president Louis who presided over the club during this period and to all of the members for their dedication to show up every week for Midtown Toastmasters! As the clock winds down on the last day of another Toastmasters year, I want express my gratitude to the officers and members of Midtown Toastmasters.

Over the past 12 months, we've accomplished a lot. We added 9 new members, ran a successful open house, and were able to achieve another year with the President's Distinguished honor.

Starting tomorrow, the newly installed officers will take the helm of this club, and I look forward to helping them continue the excellence that Midtown Toastmasters has exhibited.

Thank you for having me as your club president for the 2024-2025 Toastmasters year.
