🔔 Attendance Matters at W.W. Stewart! 🔔
Help us make W.W. Stewart a truant-free school this year! Here is a quick reminder of our attendance rules, key times, and helpful resources:
⏰ Daily Schedule • 7:10 AM: Campus opens for student drop-off and breakfast. • 7:35 AM: Morning bell rings! Students not in class by 7:35 AM are marked tardy and must be signed in at the front office by an adult.
📋 Attendance & Policy Reminders • Truancy Law: Louisiana State Law considers a student truant once they reach 5 unexcused absences or tardies in a semester. • Submitting Excuses: You have 5 business days after your child returns to submit a note. Send parent notes or photos of doctor's excuses to: 📧 [email protected] • Parent Note Limit: Parents may write up to 5 notes per school year (this total includes full-day absences, late check-ins, and early check-outs).
💻 Stay Connected via Parent Command Center Track your child's attendance and grades easily online: 1️⃣ Go to www.epsb.com 2️⃣ Click Parents/Students ➡️ Student Progress Center 3️⃣ Click Register New User and enter guardian details. (Note: PSN is typically the last 5 digits of your child's SSN)
