👻 STUCO is bringing back a favorite: Boo Grams! 👻

They will be slightly different this year. Each boo-gram will be $1 and come with a tootsie-pop and a gift tag. You can buy as many as you want; we just ask that you fill out a new form for each boo-gram you are purchasing. STUCO will fill out the gift tags and deliver all boo-grams on October 30! Here is the form to fill out to purchase a boo-gram!

📣 Yesterday was a very busy and exciting day here at Gray Hawk! 📣

🔴 We started off our morning by doing the Walk-a-Thon for our Hawk Hustle fundraiser! Parents got to join their students for a walk around our community. Thank you to all of the parents who took the time to join us!

🔴 We finished off our busy day with an assembly. We first celebrated reaching our $18,000 fundraiser goal! Students got to learn all about the cool prizes they earned throughout this fundraising process. Thank you to every single person who donated, shared a post, or even just told a friend. We wouldn't have been able to raise this money without all of you!

🔴 The last part of the assembly was focused around the Fairmount Township Fire Department giving a presentation about fire prevention to our students. Thank you so much for taking the time to come to our school to teach our students about fire safety!

📣 Since we were having so much fun during our Homecoming Spirit Week last week, we're a little behind on posting about other fun things that are happening in our school!

🎉 Gray Hawk Kindergarteners had some special visitors on Friday, September 25. After learning about community helpers in Social Studies, students enjoyed meeting several wonderful members of our community. Our kindergarteners loved learning from these community helpers and seeing how they help make our community a great place to live. We are so grateful to our special visitors for taking time to spend part of their day with us.

❤️ A big thank you to Chris from Fareway Stores (who brought yummy cookies), the Fairmount Township EMS (who let students explore the ambulance), and the fun guys from Brothers Disposal who gave the students a close up look at their brand new garbage truck!

Our 1st annual Hawk Hustle is coming up on Wednesday!

Our 1st annual Hawk Hustle is coming up on Wednesday!
We are 90% of the way to our $18000 goal and the donation website will shut down Tuesday at 8pm!

Please join us and either walk with your children or scatter around the course to help cheer on our Hawks!
We will celebrate at the finish line with music, popsicles, and announcements of winners and what school-wide prizes we earned!

We are working hard to make sure students who earned the t-shirt prize will have their shirts by Tuesday afternoon - students that reach the $100 donation level on Tuesday MAY not have their shirt by Wednesday but will be delivered ASAP.
All other prizes will be delivered by early next week!

😎 Students dressed like teachers, and teachers dressed like students! There were definitely some spot on impersonations (especially the multiple coffee cups). We'll see you tomorrow for Class Color Day! 😎
