2025 Start Training with Aspen Pro Fitness, Your time is now! Why wait when you have fitness goals today? In 2024 I set a 9 month goal to train and win IRONMAN 70.3 Boulder....I failed. I realigned my goals and 4 months later won the Grand Junction Desert Triathlon on September 6th! Although swimming, biking and running were a main staple of the training, STRENGTH training, STRETCHING, Sports specific Yoga and HIIT training rounded out my performance! Let's talk goals, training and how to integrate a win into your life this season!

Altitude training is a powerful way to build endurance, but there’s one thing you can’t skip—recovery. When training at higher elevations, your body works harder due to lower oxygen levels, which makes recovery even more critical.

✨ Recovery isn’t a sign of weakness; it’s a sign of wisdom.✨ In life and in training, real growth happens during rest.

Here are my top recovery tips for altitude training:
1️⃣ Rest Days Matter – Your muscles need time to repair and adapt.
2️⃣ Hydration & Nutrition – What you put in your body matters more at altitude.
3️⃣ Active Recovery – Light movement like swimming or easy cycling helps reduce muscle strain.
4️⃣ Prioritize Sleep – Aim for at least 8 hours to allow full recovery.
Remember, you can’t always push. Recover with intention so you can perform at your best.
