o Mulligan’s (Bartow Golf Course), 190 Idlewood Ave, Bartow, FL 33830

o 7:00 pm

o $25 per person includes heavy hors d'oeuvres

o Cash bar

o Casual

o Short program at 8:00 and class photo

· Saturday, February 25

o Classes of '70-'74 welcome

o The Starling Ranch Barn on the Lake, 8757 McCoy Road, Ft. Meade, 33841 (Lake Buffum) - This is classmate Diane Mizell Starling's venue.

o 3:00 pm

o $40 per person, includes soups, mini sandwiches, charcuterie board… as well as water, mixers, soft drinks and dessert, BYOB

o Casual... Bring a lawn chair and enjoy the bonfire

Bartow High School Class of 72

This is the official announcement for our 50th Class Reunion - Part II

SAVE THE DATE – February 24-25, 2023

Many were unable to attend the reunion held in June of this year so we are going to have another one. There is plenty of time to plan ahead and make plans to fly if necessary. We need all hands on deck to reach out to all classmates who may not be on social media which is about our only source to spread the word. Please send their phone numbers and email addresses to Jenny Singletary Brown at [email protected] or Carol Henry Lee at [email protected].

The tentative plan is a Friday night Class of 72 gathering of some sort. On Saturday, we’ll have a Barn Party Blowout and will ask alumni from our surrounding classes to join in. So many have missed out on class reunions due to Covid and other factors.

Planning will begin soon - if you want to help, please let Jenny or Carol know. As the details develop, we’ll share the information on our class page - Bartow High School Class of 1972.

If you know you’ll be there in February, please let everyone know on our class page - it will be fun to see who’s coming. And if you know you aren’t coming, please email Jenny or Carol - that will help in our planning.

Photographer available Saturday night! T-shirts will be available if you want to order one! Money can be paid at Mid Florida Credit Union class of 72 account. Make sure they record your name! If anyone wishes to deposit directly to the Mid FL credit union account, please reference Member # 427471. This IS NOT the account number but will help the teller locate the correct account. I encountered a problem today without it. Just telling them Class of 72 was insufficient.

Hi Classmates! Just want to remind everyone of our Christmas Reunion Event scheduled for Saturday, December 14 at the Bartow Airbase Restaurant. Cost per person is $30 and is due no later than November 26th. Payment can be mailed to:

Class of 72 / PO Box 1323 / Bartow, FL 33831 or
at Mid Florida Credit Union / Class of 72 / reference Inez Polite or Joe Waring for account number verification and be sure they note your name on deposit.

Casual attire. Event begins at 6 PM. Heavy hors d'oeuvres and beverages included in event cost. Cash bar available.

Please reach out to any classmates you have contact with who may not be on Facebook. We hope to have some conversation that night of our upcoming 50th so we can begin BIG plans. Bring your ideas! We need to start raising funds to make this one super special.
