🚔 A huge thank you to the East Peoria Police Dept. and Chief Catton for allowing RISE Blue and Yellow tour this morning!
Students explored the many different careers and responsibilities within the department while touring the interview rooms, investigations department, patrol unit, lab, fingerprinting area, holding cells, various offices, and the department’s large variety of police vehicles. Students even got to see some pieces of the department’s history along the way!
Of course, the mugshot backdrop had to be tested out 😂 and Chief Catton even gave students the chance to experience the inside of a holding cell!
It was a morning full of new experiences, exploration, and plenty of knowledge gained! 🚓
