SO MUCH IS HAPPENING AT ALL SOULS CONNECTED! 🐾
Our TNR work icontinues—and so is the need for your support. ❤️
Marla recently started a trapping project, and we’ve already trapped two young girls who have had their spa days to remove their baby baskets. We also trapped a VERY pregnant mama cat… and WOW, was she ready!

Within just one day of being trapped, Mama gave birth to FIVE tiny kittens! 🥹🐱 So far, Mom and her babies are doing well. Mama is a beautiful polydactyl, and one of the older kittens we rescued is too. We even think a couple of the newborns may have extra toes! 🐾💕
But our work doesn’t stop there.

🏡 Agnes & Athena are still looking for their forever home!
These two sweet girls are about 14 weeks old and are coming around beautifully. They’ll need a patient family willing to give them some time to adjust, but we know the right home is out there! We also still have Maples up for adoption She is about 1.5 years old and is completely acclimated to living in a home.

Athena and Agnes are settling in well. They are learning what love, full bellies, air conditioning, and play is like. Slowly but surely they are starting to trust us. For only being around humans for less than a week I’d say they will fit into the indoor life no problem. Athena is a little more reserved than her silly sister Agnes but steadily she is opening up and letting the love in. These littles will be in need of a home (or two) soon. Welp! Here we go again! Bri is fostering these cuties! 2 feral (for now) girl kittens. They are like twins which is why we put collars on them. Purple collar is Agnes and pink collar is Athena. Both saw the white coats today to confirm s*x, health status, and get dewormed. Both tested negative for FIV/FeLV/HW. They will go back in 2 weeks for vaccines and another round of dewormer. As always donations are the only way we can keep taking on more cases. Every dollar helps! Thank you for your support.

Some of you may remember Tucker from August 2024:

It is with a heavy heart that we share, Tucker, has been diagnosed with HCM (Hypertrophic Cardiomyopathy), a form of heart disease. He is only 1 year old, and this is something he was most likely born with. Unfortunately, treating HCM can be expensive. Tucker will need to see a special veterinary cardiologist every 6–12 months for the rest of his life (each appointment is around $1,000 each 😵‍💫), along with lifelong medication (around $1,000 a year).

Hayley, who is a long time foster for us- and Tucker’s mom created Team Tucker as a way to make the financial aspect of Tucker’s condition a little easier. 💙

She is selling hand-painted Tucker magnets and ornaments for $5 each, and 100% of the proceeds will go directly toward his medical care. Tucker has been with them since he was just 7 days old. He was a tiny bottle baby found needing fed every two hours without his mom. He has flourish into the kindest, and cutest addition to the family. We want to give him the longest, happiest life possible. ❤️‍🩹

❤️ A story of hope, dedication, and an incredible accomplishment. ❤️

Many of you will remember the GoFundMe for Carrie & Steve, who have cared for a large feral cat colony for nearly two decades. When the property they had rented for 18 years was sold, they were forced to relocate the entire colony—or the cats would have been left behind to starve.
Anyone who works with feral cats knows what a monumental task that is.

We're thrilled to share that as of June 30, all 40 cats have been safely trapped and moved to their new home! Six also received their spay/neuter surgeries before entering their acclimation area. All 40 cats are fixed.

The most amazing part? Carrie trapped 37 of the 40 cats herself! The last few gave us a run for our money, so Brianna and I (Maria) jumped in to help.

Steve worked tirelessly behind the scenes, coordinating the move and preparing a safe acclimation area, because relocated feral cats can't simply be released—they need time to adjust so they don't try to return to their old home.

This incredible accomplishment happened in less than two months!

This week, we said "farewell for now" to our sweet Skelly. 💔🌈

About 10 months ago, Skelly wandered up to one of our foster homes in heartbreaking condition. Marla took him in without hesitation and made sure he would never have to suffer alone again.

We had him to the Vet and found out He was a very old boy with a mouth tumor, end-stage kidney disease, severe malnutrition, and many other health issues. Surgery wasn't an option, so we chose hospice care instead.

For the last 10 months, Marla gave Skelly the greatest gift anyone could ask for—love, comfort, safety, and dignity. He was a fighter, but when his body told us it was time, we made the difficult decision to let him go peacefully.

Please help us say goodbye to Skelly and wish him happiness, health, and endless sunshine at the Rainbow Bridge. And if you could, please send some extra love to Marla. Hospice fosters carry a special kind of heartbreak, but they give these forgotten souls the chance to know love in their final days.

This is the hardest part of rescue, and it never gets easier. But we would do it all again to give a cat like Skelly the love and comfort he deserved.

Run free, sweet boy. You were deeply loved, and you will never be forgotten. ❤️🐾

We could really use some prayers, positive thoughts, and support for our sweet old man, Chickpea (aka Blondie). 💔

Over the past several days, Chickpea has started to decline. We began treatment with doxycycline, but when he continued getting worse, Beth rushed him to the vet yesterday.

Unfortunately, the abscess in his leg has returned, his nose continues to develop strange scabs, he's dehydrated, and he's still battling anemia. His anemia numbers improved slightly, but they're still far from where they need to be. The one bit of good news? His eye is looking a little better. We'll take every small victory we can get.

Despite feeling so poorly, Chickpea was an absolute angel at his appointment. ❤️

The vet added an antibiotic injection, fluids, additional eye medications, and continued doxycycline. His bloodwork was concerning and somewhat inconsistent, leaving us with more questions than answers. No one knows why the leg abscess keeps coming back. One possibility is that a foreign object from his original injury is still lodged inside. For now, we're hoping this round of antibiotics will finally clear it up. If not, he'll need X-rays.

The heartbreaking reality is that Chickpea's age and medical condition make anesthesia extremely risky. If there is something in his leg—or if his painful dental disease needs treatment—our options are very limited.

We hate asking, but we desperately need help.

The costs of repeated vet visits, diagnostics, medications, fluids, and ongoing care are adding up quickly, and we are already struggling to keep up. Every donation, no matter how small, makes a difference for Chickpea. Even $5 helps us continue giving him the medical care he needs and deserves.

We are also still searching for a long-term foster home for Chickpea. We need someone with feral cat experience who lives within about an hour of Gilbertsville, PA and is willing to give this senior boy the comfort, patience, and love he deserves.

Right now, Chickpea is living in Beth's basement because it's the only space available. He has cozy beds, good food, and everything he needs, but it's not the forever situation we want for him.

Who remembers Snowball (now Phoebe!) Don’t get it twisted; she loves her siblings, she loves them so much, she gets as close as possible to them… maybe even suffocating them with love.. 🤣
