Who's ready for SOUP?? We'll be serving up all your favorites starting at 5:00 at the Southwest vs Cambridge game on Friday 1/9/26. Free will donation. Start the New Year off right with a couple of great basketball games and a delicious meal you don't have to cook!

Hope to see you there! All proceeds go toward the Southwest Public Schools Foundation Scholarship Program.

You guys are amazing! We're sitting 3rd on the leader board for the Southwest Nebraska Big Give!! Thank you to everyone who has donated so far. Keep it coming... we've got just under 12 hours left.

Southwest Nebraska Big Give is 24 hours of giving on Nov. 6 for more than three dozen area non-profit organizations.

The Southwest Nebraska Big Give starts at midnight. Power hours are specific times within the 24 hour period that are eligible for even more matching funds. Watch our page for updates on locations or online times. You can also visit their website for a complete list!

Whether you choose to support the Southwest Beef in Schools Program or our general scholarship fund, your generous donation will be put to good use and help make an impact on the students and staff at our school!

Support your favorite nonprofit—whether you give $10 or $1,000, every donation counts. Donate online at swnebiggive.org, visit a physical giving station, or choose a power hour to make an even bigger impact.

We invite you to join us in the upcoming Southwest Nebraska Big Give Event happening November 6, 2025. This is a 24 hour giving period where you can donate to your favorite charities and non-profit organizations.

As one of the participants, you can designate funds to go to our SWPS Foundation. This is the best way to maximize the impact of your generosity as it becomes eligible for the the BIG GIVE matching funds and bonus dollars from other generous sponsors.

Please consider giving in one of three ways:
1) In person (watch for posted locations during the 11/6 event)

2) Online - use the link below to donate to the Foundation

3) Write a check directly to the SWPS Foundation ahead of time - we will hold it for the event so that your funds are part of the BIG GIVE.

In addition, this year we have designated two funds to choose from:

1) The Southwest Beef in Schools Program - all donations will go to help fund the program here at our schools

2) The SWPS Foundation General Fund - all donations will go toward scholarships and other student/faculty support throughout the school year. In recent years, we have hosted speakers, purchased childrens books, assisted with new playground equipment, reimbursed tuition for dual credit classes and provided scholarships for every Southwest senior that completed an application.

Come win some steaks and support our Southwest Beef in Schools Program!! Southwest Roughriders

Come see us tonight at the Southwest vs Wallace Football in Bartley. We'll be selling raffle tickets to win a steak bundle. Winner to be drawn between the 3rd & 4th quarters of the game. All proceeds will go towards processing expenses of future donated beef.

Help us kick off Old Settlers weekend with a sweet treat during the Indianola Ranch Rodeo Friday night 8/8/25. We'll be selling ice at the concession stands from 6-9pm. While you're there, be sure to grab a walking taco from the Southwest Senior Class who will be set up right next to us!
