We are proud to announce that Bartlett City Schools has earned the prestigious LEVEL 5 DISTRICT designation for the 2024-2025 school year. This is the highest distinction in the state’s TVAAS (Tennessee Value-Added Assessment System) accountability system. In addition, several of our schools individually achieved the LEVEL 5 designation.

These honors recognize outstanding academic growth and performance across the district, reflecting our shared commitment to student success and educational excellence.

She argued the plan risks key student services and could lead to defunding and privatizing public schools, resulting in larger class sizes, less individual attention and fewer resources for students with disabilities.

Antioch High School and MNPS community, a message and update:

- To support students and staff, Antioch High School will remain closed Monday, January 27, to allow teachers and staff to prepare classrooms and reflect together.

- When students return to campus Tuesday, January 28, the focus will be on healing, with grief counseling, mental health support, and community-building.

- On security: We have taken immediate steps to strengthen safety and security at Antioch by piloting the Evolv weapons detection system..

“This pilot program demonstrates our unwavering commitment to safety and security,” said Superintendent Dr. Adrienne Battle. “Antioch High will serve as a critical testing ground for this advanced technology, allowing us to assess its effectiveness as we explore funding opportunities to expand its use across more schools. We look forward to learning valuable lessons from this pilot program to guide future decisions on expanding this technology to ensure safety across all of our schools.”
