And we are BACK! Here are the first sounds of our newest 7th Grade Orchestra Guardians!! In class today we accomplished all three scales: C, G, and D Major; and we even started learning the upper and lower octaves! What a productive first day of learning! 🎻

Today was our Bartlett Area “String-O-Rama”, for the first time hosted at HHMS! Students entering grades 6-12 spent the day learning new music, playing games (including a hula-hooping competition and water balloon relay), participated in student-led sectionals, had a pizza lunch, and presented a short performance for their families at the conclusion of the day! 1 month til the new school year begins! 🎻

Our first year has come to a close! Thank you to all orchestra students, parents, families, and community members for an outstanding year. And a special thank you to the 7th graders - you were, and always will be, the inaugural orchestra of Hawk Hollow Middle School. I am so proud to have started this journey with all of you. Enjoy your break, and see you next school year!

The Hawk Hollow Orchestras invite you to ADVENTURE & FANTASY: Our HHMS Area Spring Orchestra Concert. The concert will be at 6:30pm in the Bartlett HS Auditorium on Monday, May 4th and will feature all of our elementary and middle school string musicians. Come celebrate the end of the school year and all of the students’ hard work and progress! 🐉🏰🦢🥷
