I want to start off by just saying simply Thank You all. I know it’s been 5 months and I am sorry it has taken me this long to message you. We are humbled and blessed beyond what we deserve and I wanted to take a moment and extend Our family’s utmost thanks to everyone of you in this class for your support, thoughts, prayers and donations to our family. Losing Jeremy was the absolute worst thing that we could’ve imagined happening in our world. Still to this day we are reeling and just putting one foot in front of the other BUT we are getting through this. you guys truly showed up and showed out. Jeremy was the most amazing husband, father, and grandfather. He is HUGELY missed by the kids and I. There aren’t enough words to truly tell each of you how precious you were to Jeremy and to us. There was never a day that he didn’t have a good memory or a smile on his face about the friendships with each of you. Please know we appreciate you each and every one and we are here for the moment any of you need us. I pray you never feel what we are going through but if you do, we got you! Thank you for loving our guy and for being so precious to him and to us. God bless each of you and don’t be strangers, you’re always welcome at our house. So much love to you all!! Andee, Ashleigh, Ryleigh, Scooter, and Owen James. We love you and Thank you from the bottom of our hearts.
Anyone here have photos of Pete Tornatore to share? I would like to share them with our daughter (who is 26 now?!)

Watching the Senior video got me feeling all the feelings!

For those who don’t know, Pete passed away in 2004.

'Queen of the mommy bloggers' Heather Armstrong dies aged 48 05/10/2023

Good afternoon Panthers! I hope life is treating all of you well and you are getting ready for summer days and nights.
I have to pass along some unfortunate and tragic news. Our fellow classmate, Valedictorian, Heather Hamilton has passed away. We don’t know much more than what the articles state. Please hold your loved ones a little tighter and pray for those that have battles we may never know about. Reach out to friends. It’s never too late. Mental Health in all aspects is very real. Love all of you dearly and let’s not be strangers. ❤️💙❤️💙

The Celebration of Life for Jeremy today was very nice. Jeff Mccall Jeff Swift Jeff Whitehorn did great. It is not an easy task to speak about someone you love and lost but I’d bet Jeremy was smiling down loving ever minute of it.

For the classmates that have prayed, donated money, brought food, phone calls, or whatever for Jeremy’s family, it is appreciated. Andee has told Alison about how appreciative she is from the support.

It was great to see all of you today, even in this type of circumstance.

Lucas

Hey everyone. A LOT of you have reached out to me over the past couple of days regarding arrangements for Jeremy or any needs the family may have.

The Celebration of Life Service will be Saturday, August 21st, 2:00 p.m. at New Hope Church in Bartlett (corner of Kirby Whitten and Yale Rd) with a reception to follow.
The family welcomes flowers or in lieu of flowers you can donate to a college fund that has been setup for their daughter Ryleigh. I will have that information hopefully tomorrow.

If you are wanting to bring food for the family, please contact me by call or text and I can arrange a time for you to bring it by. They are emotionally overwhelmed right now and I am taking this off their plate so they can be with each other.

Thank you for your love, support and endless prayers for The Echols Family. ❤️

I’ve struggled all day with the adequate words.
Class members and friends, today we lost another one of our own. Jeremy Echols was larger than life with his kindness, his heart, his charisma, his infinite love for his wife, their daughters, his son-in-law, his new grandson and his son. He would truly do anything for anyone and personally speaking, the best friend a gal could ever ask for. He was extremely funny, but quiet about it. He was loved by so many. There will be a hole left in many of our hearts, but knowing him made you a better person.

Please keep Andee and their girls in your prayers. They need all the love and support we can give.
A celebration of life will be Saturday, August 21st @ 2:00 at New Hope Christian Church (corner of Kirby Whitten and Yale Rd). Andee has asked me to please relay the request of speaking in his honor if you feel inclined to do so.
Our class is more like a family than a friendship and
we are so blessed to have each other.
Lucas and I will be collecting money for a nice arrangement and anything leftover will go to Andee for whatever needs she may have.
I love you all!!!
Jeremy you will never be forgotten and will live endlessly in our hearts. Thanks for the memories!! 💙💔💙💔

Afternoon everyone. I just wanted to keep you in the loop. I just ordered a large floral arrangement to be delivered to the funeral home from BHS C/O 1993. If you would like to pitch in a little that would be great, if not that’s 100% okay too. If we happen to get more than what I paid then I will reach out to his sister to see if there is a need or charity she would like the donations to go to. You can pay Lucas or myself. He has PayPal and I have Venmo.

I am still in shock and terribly sad like most of you probably are. Know that I love each and everyone of you! Sending you hugs and kisses.

Funeral services for Jason Gregory...

05/12/2021

Good afternoon everyone. I hope things are starting to get back to some sort of normalcy for you and you’ve stayed healthy and safe.
I just wanted to let you know that we have lost another classmate, Jason Gregory. He was such a great guy that loved golf and his Mississippi State Bulldogs. I remember he had such and infectious smile and fun personality. I will post the information for his services and a few pics. It won’t let me do that on this post. I know several of us live in that area or close to it. I will chat with Lucas and Beth to see if we should send flowers or a plant from our class. If so, we will put the information here.
Life is to damn short!!! Take the time to tell those that mean a lot to you, just that, they mean a lot to you and you love them. 💙💔💙💔
Love you all!!!!

Good evening everyone. Please keep Lucas McNair and his family in your prayers and thoughts. His father passed away over the weekend. If you ever went to a baseball game that Lucas played in or Lucas’ boys or nieces and nephews played in or cheered for, chances are you crossed paths with Mr. McNair. He was a devoted family man, retired officer from the Memphis Police Department and Papa to all that knew him. There will be tough days ahead, but the support of family and friends is what gets you through. We love you Lucas.
❤️💙

If you want to donate, please do, if not, that is perfectly okay too. Lucas has PayPal ([email protected]) or I have Venmo (Alison-Orman). Whatever is left over we will give to Cindy’s family unless there is a charity or organization that some of you may be aware of.
Love you all!!! ❤️💙❤️💙

Good evening BHS Class of 93, this is Alison Wilson Orman. I just wanted to share with you that I ran into Yvette Holloway-Williams and she told me that another one of our classmates has passed away from kidney cancer, Erica Smith. Us Elmore Park kids went to school with her from Kindergarten through twelfth grade. She was a cheerleader and always had a smile with those big, beautiful dimples. Her FB page is Olevia Smith if you would like to express your sympathy so her family can see what a wonderful person she truly was. She taught at Southwind High School. Please keep her family, friends and students in your prayers. Cancer sucks!!!! We love you Erica!!!
