I wish I can partner with a minister to bring Obie's Christian Preparatory Academy to life again. I missed being with my 12 kids I had
enrolled with my program. I still keep in touch with one particular family Ms. Britt Mays her daughter and Ms. Britt change my life. Because, I fought for my in home daycare even after beating Covid-19. She stayed with me through all of my illness and my lil baby became apart of the Obie family. Til this day I still keep in touch with my lil baby. God put people in your life for a reason even through the bad and ugly. It took me along time to accept my calling. I sit there or when we are doing an activity. I watch them. One of my students waits on me until I come back from break. He knows I will always have food. He lays on his mat and looks at me. He be the only child up munching with me. I know his allergies before anyone jumps on my post. It’s normally the school food we have or I buy a lot of fruits 😂. The funny part about this he pats his bed y’all telling me to put the fruits on his bed. He knows I am going to do it regardless. These things makes my day. Most of you women out here is lucky that you can have kids and share that bond with your child. I share my bond with my students. People have tried to destroy me but I’m still standing through God eyes.

We provide: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner and Snack. Full course meals.

The bible is broken down to our children's level to where they can understand the meaning of the word and the bible.

We use Adeka and Funshine Learning Curriculum as our teaching method.
We do offer Virtual learning. We will have thst setup by this week. We are waiting on our cable provider.

My last baby left at 2:45pm and I don't have any right now. Winding down for the day. I really want to cut this second shift out of my program period because people wanna quote you prices from previous daycares. Well , I am not your previous daycare. I am Obie's Christian Preparatory Academy we charge per child not what you pay at your last daycare or what you use to paying. You can't go into Lapetite Academy, Faith Preschool Academy nor Bright Ideas Enrichment Center on Hillshire and tell them oh you can't pay your tuition because you didn't have any hours this week. Baby, they will polity tell you that your child can't come this week until your tuition is paid in full. Or they will terminated your childcare and take you to court. I am so over the so call drama its ridiculous. You can pay for a $1000 iphone but you can't pay for childcare Treat your childcare like a bill as well. You know that you need childcare pay you fee hon. Today! I am fed up period. If you can't prepay before Monday you will not get care. I will be singing Hello from the other side from my door.

Three more days until Dirty 37. Dec 24 what a year it has been. I have lost, gain, and love so many times. But what really brought this year to the end is Obie's Christian Preparatory Academy. I love what I do and can't wait to see what God has for me and the year 2021 because he brought me a mighty long way. Blessed to have 3 kids enrolled and my preschool program. God is worthy to be praised. In if you don't know God get to know that man. He gave his only forgotten son for you and me.

Again! I am just letting everyone know when you are attending and enrolling your child and children into my care at Obie's Christian Preparatory Academy you must pay your tuition upfront and a deposit fee. I have gotten burned from five different families and I have reported it every last one of them to the group that they came from as well. I don't accept vouchers, I don't provided pick up and drop off for a reason. If you are receiving care from me please make sure you are giving your tuition in the order you receive care. I don't work for free, I am not just a babysitting service's. I am a childcare provider who actually teaches. I am old-school. Your child is going to learned the basic skills to pass that Pre-k and Headstart test. I have taught Headstart for three years. Don't underestimated me and don't try to walk all over me as a childcare provider because I am humble and I will help anybody. However, I been doing and teaching early childhood education for 19 years. I am certified through the state of Nashville with a CDA and preschool and Pre-K. Which, I am now working towards my degree and Early Childhood Education to even further my career dealing with children with special needs.This business is my livelihood and my baby. I gave birth to Obie's Christian Preparatory Academy. You will not tear me down or break me. I make myself and carry myself through God eyes. All I have ask is to respect me, respect my place of business while your children are in my care and to pay for your services. I come from a long line of warriors and christians. Again, all I ask is for you to respect me and my business.

Iron Man protecting us at Obie's Christian Preparatory Academy he said Iron Man gotta eat too and protect Memphis. I thought that was so amazing that he thinks Iron Man can protect him and our city. At this age always encourage them to use there imagination.

My overnight shift has been a success we are in our third day and it is amazing. My baby girl couldn't say my name so she calls me Ms. O and her comfortable pillow. Told me she love me and that we are bff. We had a ball last night can't wait for tonight. So last night upon leaving she gave me the most biggest hugs ever and said bye bff see you tomorrow. Omg! So my butt acting like I don't have to be up and the next three hours. However, I been asleep already thinking and planning my next move and silence. God got me this far with the blessing of two kids and my care. God will continue to get me further than I can imagine. When I walked out on faith, I walked out with Obie's pride and God's will to succeed. Determined to finished what I started it and I am doing just that with just two kids and my care. I know God didn't put me here to leave me nor forsake me. My faith, my ambitious and the love for what I do got me here and I am staying with me and my two daycare babies. Obie's Christian Preparatory Academy is coming y'all and I bet my $20 dollars its coming 2021 full swing and operational. I already started my seed and plant my foundation as the roots to my foundation begins to grow. However, my foundation has just started to grow into my brick and when my brick grows the top of my roof is completed with God leading my way.

Obie's Christian Preparatory Academy offers both virtual and learning education that meets you and your child's need as well as provide Breakfast, lunch, snack and dinner. Your child will get the best of both worlds while attending my program. Not only do we over Virtual learning we offer the word of God and the bible. We have chapel every Wednesday and bible study broke down so the children can understand and learned. Friday's is strictly PJ's and Movie night where I will order take out for us and we will watch a pg 13 movie. I will inform the parent two days prior to Movie night so they will know exactly what movie we will be watching. I feel as if the children already doing Virtual and my preschool kids are already learning Monday through Friday , they need this one day while in my care to be a kid just for that day. It shows them that I see them learning and doing what they need to do. Friday's at Obie's Christian Preparatory Academy is our PJ's and Movie Night.

Yesterday morning! I had a pleasant surprise from one of my parents Ms. Britt Mays. I physically and emotionally just had laid down because I am not sleeping at night. However, I was surprised to see her because she's usually at work at 7am in the morning. 😂😂 😂

Anyway, she made my morning. She came to check up on me we sit and talk about my baby. And yes she had her mask on and it was a pretty mask.

She treated me to my favorite place Subway.
God sent some amazing parents to my preschool program.

I know when my parents are working with their kids and who doesn't. Yes! I teach my kids about God because I grew up and the church and some kids don't get that however, being apart of my program you are getting both

Today we work on painting the reason behind the Sun sticker because the child name is mention. This is fishsticks painting. This project teaches them about colors. He ask me can he use these colors? I told him yes and he identify all of the colors accept of one.

Bio on our Academy!

My faith, my love, and my strength keeps me going everyday. Because, without him there will be no me. Walking out on faith and not by sight has taught me. I can do anything through Christ because God gave his only forgotten son for me. The reason I name my school behind my name and behind God is because of my faith. My name Obie comes from a long line of warriors, believers, and Christian people. I took the word of Christian because of its meaning and what it stands for; a person who exemplifies in his or her life the teachings of Christ. However, when I took the word Preparatory; I think of serving as or carrying out preparation for a task or undertaking by combining the word Academy together to show a union. Obie's Christian Preparatory Academy was form based on my faith, my love for being a teacher and my love for dedicating 19 years to early childhood education. I have embark on a Journey God has prepared for me my whole life. Welcome to Obie's Christian Preparatory Academy
