Operation Eagle Indian Education Title VI Program

The Cherokee Nation Johnson O’Malley program provides school supplies, caps and gowns for senior, and SAT fees to eligible students.
To qualify for the JOM program, a copy of the student’s Certificate of Degree of Indian Blood or other documentation of Indian blood must be on file at the Operation Eagle office. The Title VII, Indian Education grant provides tutoring for Indian students to increase reading and math scores for Indian sub-groups on state assessments to meet the No Child Left Behind mandates.
