Shoutout to Mr. Greg Wolfe, who teaches Oklahoma History and 8th Grade Social Studies. This past week, he inspired his students by sharing with them a meaningful presentation on the United States Constitution in honor of Constitution Day on September 17. We love his commitment to helping students understand the Constitution and the rights it protects for everyone in the United States. 🇺🇸📚

FUN FACT: The U.S. Constitution is the longest-living constitution in the world. It turned 237 years old this past week. 🎉📜

Thank you, Mr. Wolfe, for always finding ways to inspire and educate our students. 👏💜

Exploration Station had a night out on the town, visiting Owasso's Gathering on Main. Representing our school were some of our awesome resource teachers: Ms. Arrington, Ms. Hickman, Ms. Umbarger, and Ms. Peterson.

Congratulations to our one and only Ms. Hasenmyer, who graduated with her M.Ed. in Curriculum and Instruction–Science from Southeastern Oklahoma State University this summer! We are so proud of her dedication to learning and leading in the classroom. 💜🎓

She currently teaches high school Biology, Anatomy & Physiology, and Oceanography! Her students are lucky to have her. 🔬🌊

She shares, "I love teaching science classes because it gives me the opportunity to explore the truth, beauty, and goodness in our everyday lives. Some of my favorite things that happen in the classroom are my conversations with students; discussions where curiosity, critical thinking, and creativity help us to make sense of the world and give me hope for the future." ✨

Ever wondered what makes the moon glow red during a lunar eclipse? 🌕

Our 7th/8th grade science teacher, Ms. Schatz, snapped this incredible shot of the recent eclipse and put together a mini-lesson to explain the science behind it. 🔭

If you have ever had the pleasure of calling the school office, you have probably spoken to Ms. Shelbi Wood. She is our Elementary Administrative Assistant. 💜

When not taking care of staff, students, and families, Shelbi loves to spend time with her husband and daughter. They enjoy fishing and hunting deer, turkey, and even black bears. 🎣🦌

But personally, we think her biggest challenge might be Teeter. Teeter likes zoomies around the house, barking at her own reflection, and wrestling with her human sister. 🐶

Our Admin was excited to show off our new office space to Chris Burkhart and the staff during their Back-to-School Professional Development Days!

And because we love a little fun, Admin took a trip back to the ’80s for our Leadership Conference this summer and brought the windsuits back out for In-Service!

We’re grateful for a team that works hard, leads well, and knows how to have a little fun along the way! 💜

Have you ever visited Broken Bow, Oklahoma? Tell us your favorite thing to do there! 🌲

Mrs. Barnes and her family made their very first trip to Broken Bow this summer and discovered some incredible views along the way. Her brother-in-law led the group on an off-road Jeep adventure, and this breathtaking spot was one of their favorite finds!

Mrs. Barnes has been one of our high school resource teachers since 2023. If you see her this year, be sure to ask her to say the ABCs backwards! 😄🌄🚙
