School start times have been adjusted due to Senate Bill 1481, which doubles the required daily recess time for elementary students from 20 minutes to 40 minutes, effective next school year. How many books have you read so far?! This is super fun way to challenge your kiddos this summer and keep them reading!! Set goals and see if they can beat Mrs. Ge**er this summer!! 🤩🤪

Make life easy on yourself when school rolls around again by ordering school supplies now!

Keep those reading skills growing all summer long! Students have already received paper copies of our summer reading lists and challenge information to take home. Our recommended titles come from the American Library Association and other accredited reading lists, giving students plenty of great books to explore this summer.
Students should read as much as they can and record them in one of 3 options: 1 - Record them on the Beanstack App for the Bartlesville Public Library reading challenge, 2 - On the Bartlesville Public Library's reading log, OR on the reading logs that were sent home by Mrs. Ge**er. Completed reading logs should be returned to Mrs. Ge**er in August. You will find these reading logs attached to this email.

Anyone who logs more books this summer than Mrs. Ge**er does will win CANDY in August. Please make sure to watch the WPSA page and the Wayside page periodically throughout the summer to see Mrs. Ge**er's reading progress.
