Today, Friday, August 7, Barstow Community College faculty and staff came together for the 2026-2027 In-Service as we prepare to welcome our students back to campus on Monday, August 10!

Kicked off by Superintendent-President Dr. Eva Bagg, our Viking team spent the day connecting, setting goals, sharing ideas, and preparing for the year ahead—with student success at the heart of everything we do.

The day included:
✨ Department trainings and important updates
🎯 Goal-setting and planning for the year ahead
🏆 Recognition of faculty and staff celebrating 5, 10, 15, 20 and 25 years of service
🤝 Collaboration and connection across our campus community
📚 Preparing to provide our students with the support and experiences they need to succeed

With WE ARE VIKINGS as the theme throughout the day, one thing was clear: our strength comes from the people who make up the BCC family.

We are ready. We are united. We are excited.
