Here's the gist of the offside rule for anyone wondering. If you watched the FIFA World Cup Games, you might not like this rule too much 😂 But if you look up the history of why this law came to be, you'll understand the importance of upholding it.

We are looking for more 14u players for our upcoming fall season. If you have a boy or girl interested in soccer get them signed up! Season starts in 2 weeks

We need coaches!! Ayso is ran by all volunteers. For this upcoming fall season we need a 6u and 8u coed coach. All practices and games are held at the barryton elementary. We also need one 10u boys coach. This is a twice a week practice and games on Saturdays. There are 6 games and 3 are home and 3 are away. Ayso offers lots of online and in person training. For all three of these age groups there is an in person training scheduled for 8/22 in grant. If you know nothing about soccer but want away to work with kids now is the time to jump in!

We need referees! Check out these opportunities to help your AYSO region. Reach out to us with questions and we'll get you going on this very necessary volunteer position. *Only ONE class is required to become a certified Regional Referee.

Training dates and locations are: 8/15 in Grand Rapids, 8/22 in Grant, 8/22 in Portage, and 8/29 in Ithaca.
