💛🇩🇪 In our German class for heritage speakers, kids enjoyed a fun beach-themed craft using only German to communicate. Bilingualism creates a stronger connection to their heritage, gives them more confidence to communicate with family near and far, and opens the door to friendships with other children who share their language and cultural background. It’s more than just learning a language. 🌍

In our German classes, we’ve been exploring the topic of spring and summer in Germany, using a short German video as our guide. 🎥🇩🇪
We learned vocabulary and discussed:
